General Questions
Q: Why should I fly for the vCanadian Air Force?
A: If you are into Military Aviation, or want to do something totally different, then the vCAF is the place for you. We do missions that no other VA or sometimes, no other VSOA can do. We do such missions as Formation Flying, Escorting, Air to Air Combat, Air to Air Refueling, Tactical Air Lift, Coastal Patrol, Reconnaissance, Air Drops, Para Drops, VIP Transport, Search and Rescue, and much, much more. With Canada’s large land area, it’s just one giant play ground for our virtual Military Organization. So if you are up to a challenge, want top level training, and want to do something different, then vCAF is the place for you!
Q: Once I’ve signed up as a pilot, what is the first thing I should do?
A: Sign up on the forums ASAP. Almost all of our communication regarding all missions, training, and operations is done via the vCAF forums. Please start by introducing yourself, as well as participate in regular forum discussions.
Q: What’s the main difference between a VSOA and VA?
A: The main difference between a VSOA and VA is that we require you to do more training, and the rules are usually more strict in terms of operations, communication, and training.
