Commander of Air Command and the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Name:Lieutenant General Shawn Foster Email: chieffoster@vcaf.ca Biography: Shawn Foster is 20 years old, and resides in Toronto, Ontario. Shawn founded vCAF in February of 2006. He's been a VATCAN controller for over five years holding a Senior Controller Rating, and is a member of the Vancouver FIR. Real world aviation, Shawn is currently working towards his PPL. In real world, Shawn is a Primary Care Paramedic in the province of Ontario. Responsibilities: The Chief of Air Staff is responsible to ensure the normal operations of vCAF. The highest in command of the virtual Canadian Air Force, and oversees all operations.

Deputy Chief of Staff (DCAS) Name:Major General Robbie Nauffts Email: robbienauffts@gmail.com Biography: Robbie Nauffts is 25 years old and hails from Nova Scotia. He has been with VCAF for two years and his background is in graphic design, aircraft repainting and organizing. He is currently in the application process the Canadian Forces. Responsibilities: THe Deputy Chief of Staff (DCAS) is responsible for providing the CAS with direct advice and policy coordination for all vCAF Operations and public affairs. The DCAS also fulfills the position of CAS when they are on a leave of absence.

Chief of Operations (COS) Name:Brigadier General Matt Twitchin Email: mtwitchin@vcaf.ca Biography: Matt Twitchin is currently in the Canadian Forces as a pilot. He is currently on Phase II Grob in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Matt has been with vCAF since the beginning, and now is responsible for daily operations and missions in the vCAF community. Responsibilities: The Chief of Operations (COS) is responsible for the strategic planning of the vCAF operations, joint missions, and international events. It is also responsible for the communication and coordination between the vCAF and other vSOA’s.

Deputy Chief of Operations (DCOS) Name:Position Vacant Email: Biography: Responsibilities: The Deputy Chief of Operations (DCOS) is responsible for the strategic planning of the vCAF operations, joint missions, and international events. They provide direct assistance to the Chief of Operations. The DCOS also fulfills the position of COS when they are on a leave of absence.

Chief of Training and Development (COT) Name:Position Vacant Email: Biography: Responsibilities: The Chief of Training and Development (COT) is responsible for the readiness of all pilots prior to promotion to Operational Squadrons and provides vCAF pilots with individual training, education, professional development and advancement through training levels Phase I and II. .

Chief of Web Administration (COW) Name:Brigadier General Tomas Hansson Email: thansson@vcaf.ca Biography: Tomas is a real-world Private Pilot and FlightSimmer for nearly 20 years! He codes websites during the day and spends hours as a Supervisor watching the VATSIM network in the evenings. He lives in Ottawa with his wife, son and two cats. Responsibilities: The Chief of Web Administration (COW) is responsible for providing administration services to vCAF which includes, website and forums administrator. .
