Limits:
Altitude: +/- 50 feet
Airspeed: +/- 5 KIAS
Heading/Course: +/- 5 degrees
Flight Procedure:
- Depart from Moose Jaw (CYMJ) following the Standard Instrument Departure (SID) as published in the Canada Air Pilot.
- Upon completion of the SID intercept V306 or J483 from VLN (Lumsden VORTAC) to YXE (Saskatoon VORTAC)
- Maintain limits as prescribed.
- Upon arrival at Saskatoon (CYXE) conduct a full procedure ILS on runway 09.
- DO NOT LAND! However at approximately 100 feet AGL overshoot and conduct a battle break into a closed circuit pattern for a touch and go.
- After conducting the touch and go climb runway heading to a minimum safe altitude and conduct a non-precision approach of your choice.
- On the non-precision approach descend only to circuit altitude and conducted an overhead break for a closed circuit pattern for a full stop landing.
Video Recording Procedures:
- When your aircraft is lined up on the Runway at CYMJ, go to the options menu and select “Flight Video”.
- Select “Record New Clip” to start the video recording.
- After your flight, when you have cleared the active runway, press escape to stop the recording.
- You will see a new screen, with two boxes. This is where you enter the video clip title. Name the video with your Pilot ID (ex. “105”). There is no need to enter any extension, the program will give the file a FSR extension, and save it. The FS2004 default location for saving this file will be in the Documents/Flight Simulator Files folder.
- In the description box, enter your full name and the date flown. You can add any comments you wish in the description box.
- Now go find your file and zip it up. Name the zipped file the same as you named the video (ex 105.zip). Now it will have a ZIP extension rather than a FSR extension.
- Click here to upload your check flight video file.
